I Can Buy My Own Flowers (currently exhibiting)
This painting is currently on display at Art Apothecary in Gananoque. Please visit to see it in person or for purchase inquiries
This 12x12” acrylic painting was inspired by a bunch of spring flowers bought on a whim by the artist in an attempt to bring some extra feminine energy into her house full of rambunctious testosterone in the form of her two little boys (and husband….and cats). The artist sometimes feels like the wilted tulip represents the exhaustion of motherhood well.
Painted in Canada and made with Canadian art supplies! This piece was made on a bamboo panel, with acrylic paint and sealer, all produced by Tri-Art Mfg. in Kingston, Ontario. The panel has grooves pre-carved into the back so the piece is ready to hang as is. No frame needed as painted details extend over the edges.
