FAQ

Q: How do I arrange local delivery?

A: If you live in the Kingston area, you will be able to choose "local delivery" for orders over $60. Deliveries will be made weekly on Fridays or alternatively on weekends. If you have a time preference, or want to make sure that you are home when I deliver, please send me an email!

Q: How do I arrange local pick-up?

A: If you live in the Kingston area, you can choose the local pick-up option. The pick-up point is at Art Noise, located at 290 Princess St. I will send you an email when your order is ready for pick-up. Do not show up for pick-up without receiving this email as I am not at Art Noise every day! Please allow for 24-72 hours for your pick-up to be ready. If Art Noise does not work for you, please send me an email and we can potentially arrange an alternative site.

Q: Do you do commissions?

A: Yes! For anything custom, please send me a direct email so we can discuss details, pricing etc. and make sure everything is perfect for you. Commissions can be requested for acrylic or digital paintings.

Q: You say you use Canadian-made paint, what is it?

A: I use Tri-Art Mfg. acrylic paint, which is made locally in Kingston, On. They are a professional grade acrylic paint with a high pigment load, which guarantees luminous paintings every time. The majority of canvases and alumiunum panels I use are also made locally by Tri-Art. You can find out more information about them HERE

Q: Are your pieces varnished?

A: No, because I use a professional-grade acrylic paint, they do not need to be varnished! I do, however, put a thin coat of acrylic polymer as a final layer as a barrier and to bring all the pigments together in shiny cohesion.

Q: Do your pieces come ready to hang?

A:  Yes! Unless you are purchasing a digital print, all my original pieces come ready to hang with either wire and d hooks or a sawtooth hanger on the back. Digital prints come unframed, and mixed media pieces will state if they are framed or not in the listing.

Q: What does digital painting mean?

A: Anything in my digital painting series means that I create the piece on my ipad using the app Procreate and an Apple Pencil to create brushstrokes. Each piece is still lovingly made brushstroke by brushstroke, this just means I can easily make a series of each print rather than there only being an original, or prints being run off that original. Fun fact: generally I like using the gouache setting on Procreate!
